Abstract

In the efforts to diversify the curriculum in the natural sciences and mathematics, that are traditionally labeled as "diversity-unfriendly", we find tessellations an extremely useful tool for introducing various topic with multicultural flavor. The paper overviews the structure of the Towson University course "Computers and Creativity", where these concepts have been successfully implemented through the use of appropriate software tools.
