The Kolakoski sequence is a self-generating sequence consisting of 1’s and 2’s only. In addition to the several visualizations of this sequence known, in this paper, a representation is presented illustrating different properties of the Kolakoski sequence and of its generalizations by placing the sequence elements on a spiral.
