Abstract

ITSPHUN7trade; geometric shapes can be easily combined to create an infinite number of structures both decorative and functional. We introduce this system of shapes, and discuss its use for teaching mathematics. At the workshop, we will provide a large number of pieces of various shapes, demonstrate their use, and give all participants the opportunity to build their own creations at the intersection of art and mathematics.
