In our opinion, an objective tool for studying the quality of, and circulation, or movements thorough a dwelling house is the Theory of Graphs. We associate a graph to a ground plan, which is known as a circulation diagram by Architects; the vertices are the rooms and the edges are the direct connections between two rooms. In this paper we use these graphs, together with certain mathematical invariants associated with them, to analyze the movements of people through different rural houses.
